Jackson Preparatory School is located on a 33-acre tract of land located at 130 Old Denmark Road in South Madison County. In addition to the over 30,000sq ft of instructional space, the campus includes sports facilities: gymnasium, ball fields, and fitness room. Three buildings are currently being used for Pre-K-3 through 12th grade. Although our school is located in a quiet, rural setting, we are only five minutes away from Highway 45-Bypass. Traffic flow on the campus of Jackson Preparatory School is arranged in such a way that congestion is minimized.
The Upper School Building houses 6th Grade through 12th Grade. The school’s main offices for the Principal, Director of Finance and Secretary are located here. In addition, the Library, Computer Lab, and Science Lab are in this building.
The Lower School Building is occupied by the Early Childhood Development Center for children 3 and 4 years of age. Also the Kindergarten through 5th Grade classrooms are located in this building.
The School Gymnasium
serves as a multipurpose facility for Sports and the School Cafeteria. Prep Parent Club Meetings, Athletic Booster Club Meetings, and School Assemblies are also held here.
Outdoor Facilities
On the grounds behind the Lower School Building is a beautiful playground provided by our Prep Parent Club. On the back side of the school grounds is located our football/soccer field, and Baseball/Softball field.. Much hard work by volunteers, parents, and the Athletic Booster Club keep our fields ready for the next game!
