Mr. Robert J. Edwards retired from the U. S. Postal Service with 30 years of distinguished service and returned to his home of Jackson, Tennessee. After re-establishing himself in the South Madison County community, he brought together a group of friends who formed the concept of an affordable private school. In July 2007, the doors of Jackson Preparatory School opened to the first families.
